Regarding the letter “Comparing Trump, Biden-Harris” (Aug. 7, TribLive): Under President Biden and Vice President Harris, gas prices went through the roof along with food prices. Interest rates went up, also. As far as the infrastructure is concerned, taxpayers are on the hook for the money spent, as the federal government is funded by the taxpayers.

Under President Trump, 10 million people didn’t just walk into this country as they have been for the past 3½ years. Biden has practically invited them, giving them housing, health care, money and food. What has he given to our homeless veterans? Anything?

I wonder if the Democrats ever wonder why most Americans don’t want to pay for other people’s health insurance, day care, student loans, housing and food. Biden-Harris just keep giving away taxpayer money.

Why do your Democrats always throw corporations under the bus? These corporation the Democrats dislike so have a large number of employees who actually don’t ask for handouts.

Next, let’s talk about all the wars going on around the world. No wars were started under Trump. Now the crime problem around the country … is that Trump’s doing? Thank you, Biden.

Democrats need to be truthful to the American people and quit gaslighting. Harris-Walz will be a disaster for the United States.
