Letter to the editor: Bernie, Biden, Pelosi & Schumer

After all the campaigning and wasted money, it appears that the Democratic/socialist party is narrowed down to two white men, Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden. Sanders is an avowed socialist, and Biden, who has run several times before, was President Obama’s vice president for eight years. If Obama thinks Biden is capable, why doesn’t he endorse him for president? Since our country was founded by white men with Judeo-Christian principles, I have no problem with both men being white.

Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer should both be booted out of office — Pelosi for acting like a spoiled brat and tearing up President Trump’s State of the Union speech, and Schumer for his attempt to sway the votes of Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh concerning abortion. This is why we need term limits for politicians.

I’ll close with a word about the outrageous New Kensington-Arnold School District tax increase. Putting retired school teachers on the school board is like having a fox guard the hen house. What we need is an audit, by someone other than the teachers union, to see where the present money is being spent.
