Weird or wasted?

It was in Florida, after all. History would say it was a solid combination of both.

A 68-year-old Florida man who cops say was too drunk to complete field sobriety tests also accused officers of drugging him after he drove his lawnmower into a police cruiser.

WFLA-TV reports Gary Wayne Anderson of Haines City, Fla., admitted he was drunk and hit the cruiser but said he had not caused the damage officers saw on the cruiser after heard a loud noise near where it was parked.

Officers said Anderson could not complete field sobriety tests and he “ranged from laughing to aggressive.”

Anderson was taken to the police department before requesting to be transferred to a hospital because, he said, officers had poisoned him and put cocaine in his system, WFLA reported.

And even after that time has passed, his blood-alcohol content still measured .241 — more than three times the legal limit — at Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center.

Police said Anderson’s driver’s license has been suspended for more than 41 years.
