A North Carolina woman has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Chalfant over the weekend.

Alisa Turner, 50, of Charlotte, faces one charge of aggravated assault, court records show. She was taken to Allegheny County, but was released after posting $5,000 bail on Saturday.

Allegheny County 911 was notified of a stabbing in the 200 block of Chalfant’s North Avenue at 12:39 a.m. Saturday.

First responders found an adult male who had been stabbed in the back. The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition and has since been released, Allegheny County Police said.

Police said the stabbing occurred during an altercation at the residence. Turner and the alleged victim knew each other, police said.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 26.
