Election HQ: A Pennsylvania voter guide to 2024 election
Election day in Pennsylvania is Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Voters will head to the poll to cast their ballot for president. Their choices, if you haven’t heard, are Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Donald Trump. The two rivals have made many visits to Western Pa. to make their case for why they deserve a vote and what they would bring to the White House.
The other contentious race features Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate seat with incumbent Bob Casey trying to fend off Republican challenger Dave McCormick. Several U.S. House seats in Western Pa. are also on the ballot. And some statewide seats will also to be determined at the ballot, including state treasurer, attorney general and auditor general.
Some key deadlines to know:
The voter registration deadline is Oct. 21.
The absentee/mail-in ballot request deadline is Oct. 29.
The absentee/mail-in ballot return deadline is Nov. 5.
Early voting is available to all voters. Early voting start days vary but open by Oct. 29.
