A winning Mega Millions ticket worth $516 million was sold in Bucks County, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced Monday.

The ticket for the Friday drawing was sold at a 7-Eleven in Levittown. It matched all five white balls drawn — 6, 9, 17, 18, 48 — and the yellow Mega Ball, 8, to win the jackpot worth an estimated annuity value of $516 million, or $349.3 million cash, less withholding.

The 7-Eleven store that sold the winning ticket gets a $100,000 selling bonus.

The final jackpot value was updated based on sales. The lottery says it’s the ninth largest Mega Millions jackpot awarded since the game began in 2002, and the third and largest Mega Millions jackpot won in Pennsylvania since the state joined the game in 2010.

A Pittsburgh man won $149 million in May 2014, and a $153 million jackpot was won in July 2015 by a Virginia truck driver while on his route in Pennsylvania.

This is the third Mega Millions jackpot won in 2021. A group of players in Michigan won more than $1 billion in January, and a New York couple won $96 million in February.

More than 81,600 other Pennsylvania Lottery Mega Millions tickets won prizes of various amounts in Friday’s drawing. Players are encouraged to check their tickets.

The jackpot for the next drawing on Tuesday resets to an estimated annuity value of $20 million, or $13.5 million cash. Mega Millions is played in 45 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
