Sheetz lowers price for unleaded 88 to $1.99 a gallon for Thanksgiving week
Sheetz convenience stores will sell unleaded 88 gas for $1.99 a gallon during the Thanksgiving 2022 weekend.
The deal is available at Sheetz locations that have unleaded 88.
The deal is good from Nov. 21 to Nov. 28.
According to Sheetz, unleaded 88 fuel is approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for use in most 2001 and newer cars, trucks and SUVs.
Sheetz advised motorists to check their vehicle’s owner’s manual to determine what kind of gas it can use.
The difference in unleaded 88 and the usual unleaded 87 is the percentage of ethanol. Unleaded 88 has 5% more ethanol than 87.
“Unleaded 88 burns cleaner and reduces toxins, making it more environmentally friendly. Unleaded 88 is better for a customer’s engine. It provides a higher-octane level than regular 87 fuel that helps boost horsepower and efficiency in a vehicle,” Sheetz said in a news release.
Drivers can use the Sheetz locator to find stores that have unleaded 88 fuel. Use the filter “unleaded 88″ to find locations.
