Sen. John Fetterman posts video trolling body-double conspiracy ‘fringy fringies’
U.S. Sen. John Fetterman is back on Capitol Hill and back on social media, trolling conspiracy theorists who claimed last month that he had a body double.
Tuesday evening on his non-official Senate Twitter account, Fetterman posted a short video referring to the “fringy fringies” and their conspiracy theory targeting him.
“I just want you to know that is just crazy, that is not true,” said Fetterman, wearing a black hoodie.
At that point, the camera cuts to Fetterman in a white hoodie coming through a door and saying, “Hey, yo, dude, John. What event am I supposed to be doing this afternoon?”
Black hoodie-clad Fetterman deadpans, “Dude, really.” Then both look at the camera and shrug while Bill Withers “Just the Two of Us” plays.

The odd conspiracy flared up back in March when Fetterman was released from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland after spending several weeks there being treated for clinical depression.
QAnon and far-right trolls posted two photos of Fetterman side-by-side and said one was obviously not him. One photo was a headshot of him in a suit, while the other was supposedly him at Walter Reed when it actually was from May 2022.
One Twitter account, cattturd2, collected more than 10 million engagements, according to Vice.com, which broke down the entire conspiracy thread.
It’s a miracle … In only 3 weeks, John Fetterman got a total head replacement.
