A man who brought a fully loaded gun, several magazines, knives and more to a No Kings rally in West Chester over the weekend also had a pipe bomb in his home, police said.

Police said Kevin Krebs, 31, of Malvern was walking along the 100 block of North High Street on Saturday when an officer noticed he was concealing a handgun underneath his raincoat.

The officer stopped Krebs, who told him he did in fact have a handgun in his waistband, NBC10 reported.

Police said that Krebs had a fully loaded Sig Sauer P320 handgun on him, as well as three loaded Sig Sauer handgun magazines, six loaded assault rifle magazines, an M9 bayonet knife, oleoresin capsicum spray, a pocket knife, a ski mask and gloves.

He was arrested and charged with firearm not to be carried without a license. He was later released on bail.

On Monday, a bomb squad was called to Krebs’ Malvern home after police got a search warrant and said they found at least one pipe bomb inside.

Krebs’ brother, Alex Krebs, told 6ABC that he went to the protest armed after seeing violence at other protests that day.

“In his brain, he’s scared, but I always tell him, ‘You are safe, always,’” Krebs’ brother said to the news outlet.

The rally in West Chester was one of hundreds of No Kings events that took place across the United States to protest President Donald Trump’s policies.
