Pennsylvania on Sunday reported 670 new coronavirus cases, bringing the statewide total to 133,504 since the pandemic hit in March.
This comes after there were 843 new cases posted on Saturday and 835 on Friday.
The state reported that Allegheny County saw an increase of 99 cases, while Philadelphia County saw an increase of 94 cases.
The state Department of Health reported two new deaths attributed to coronavirus after posting 16 on Saturday. The new deaths occurred on Aug. 24 and 25.
The total number of covid-19 deaths in Pennsylvania is 7,673.
More than 1.5 million people in the state have tested negative for the virus; in total 1.64 million have been tested for the virus in the state. The positivity rate is 8%.

As of Sunday, 82% of people who tested positive have recovered from the virus, according to the state covid-19 dashboard.
The state said that 160,682 tests were administered within the last seven days with 4,405 positive cases. There were 21,994 test results reported to the department through Saturday.
According to the state, there are 21,013 resident cases of covid-19 in nursing and personal care homes, and 4,493 cases among employees, for a total of 25,506 at 928 distinct facilities.
Out of the total number of deaths, 5,189 have occurred in residents from nursing or personal care facilities.
About 9,608 of the total cases in the state are among health care workers.
The Department of Health advises that if people have or think they have covid-19, they should stay home and keep away from others.
