Kate Gosselin sells Pa. house for nearly $1.1 million
The Pennsylvania house of reality TV star Kate Gosselin has been sold.
Gosselin of “Jon & Kate Plus 8” and later “Kate Plus 8” had listed her home in Wernersville, Berks County, for nearly $1.3 million, according to People Magazine. The house sold for $1,085,000 on Jan. 25, according to the listing on Zillow. The sale was first reported by the The Sun.
The 7,591-square-foot house situated on nearly 24 acres and built in 1997 has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, according to the Zillow listing.
Other features of the house, according to the Zillow listing include:
• Expansive gourmet chef’s kitchen with large kitchen island and stainless appliances including three ovens, six burner gas stove top and two dishwashers
• Large formal dining room with gas fireplace
• Salt-water pool and spa combination with waterslide
• Super-sized first floor master bedroom with huge tiled bath and four recently remodeled junior suites
• Family room with separate entrance and large built-in entertainment storage center, lower level game and family room that opens to the covered patio and pool, with large custom shelved storage room, and lower level “man cave” nearby
• Laundry room with built in organizational system includes two washers and two dryers
• Large three-stall horse barn with barnyard and 10-acre fenced paddock
• Private gated entrance with home alarm system
“Jon & Kate Plus 8” featured Kate and Jon Gosselin and their twins and sextuplets on TLC. After the couple’s divorced, “Kate Plus 8” continued to follow Kate and her eight children for years. She was also later featured in Kate Plus Date.
The couple bought the house in 2008 for $1.1 million, according to E! Online.
