OTTSVILLE — A former high school teacher has been charged with secretly taking indecent photos of three students and posting them online.

Francis Reppert, 26, of Quakertown in Bucks County, outside of Philadelhia, was arraigned Thursday on charges of indecent exposure and invasion of privacy. He was released on $500,000 unsecured bail. A message was left for Reppert on Friday seeking comment.

The charges stem from an Oct. 1 incident, when state police said Reppert, a math teacher and tennis coach at Palisades High School, was seen holding an iPad under a desk as he faced a girl, apparently taking photos up her skirt. Another student saw it happen and alerted the girl, according to an arrest affidavit.

Reppert later acknowledged to state police that he used the school-issued iPad to take the photos, the affidavit said.

State police said they confiscated Reppert’s devices and found pictures of the girl, similar photos of two other girls and photos of Reppert exposing himself at the school, according to The (Allentown) Morning Call.

Reppert, who has been with the district since 2016, was later fired.
