The Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra performed a free patriotic summer concert at St. Clair Park in Greensburg on Friday night.
Titled “Summer Sparklers,” the annual outdoor concert was conducted by WSO Artistic Director Daniel Meyer in the park’s Robertshaw Amphitheater.
Program favorites that were scheduled to be performed were “The Star-Spangled Banner,” “American Salute,” “Selections from E.T.,” “A Tribute to Henry Mancini,” “Beach Boys Medley” and more.
“All of us at the WSO are thrilled to welcome back the community to enjoy our free summer concert that is a favorite annual tradition in Greensburg,” said Endicott Reindl, executive director.
Though the concert was free, donations were accepted.
