The Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra’s annual Hat Luncheon is going virtual this year. Here, WSO executive director Endy Reindl (center) poses with 2019 event co-chairwomen Karen Kohut and Diane Nickoloff.

With its annual Hat Luncheon on hold due to the covid-19 pandemic, the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra is inviting supporters to share their favorite fancy headgear via Hats at Home.

“Since we cannot be together in person this year, we invite you to join in the #wsohats fun online,” the symphony said in a release.

Symphony supporters can post photos of themselves wearing their favorite hats on Facebook or Instagram and tag the symphony using @westmorelandsymphonyorchestra or by using the hashtag #wsohats. Participants also are asked to tag their hat-loving friends.

Photos also can be emailed to joy@westmorelandsymphony.org.

The symphony will share the photos on social media and will create on online photo gallery.

Those making donations will be recognized in the 2021 Hat Luncheon program and on the symphony website. The 20th Hat Luncheon is scheduled for June 12, 2021.
