Fundraisers
• Mon Valley Paws will host its annual Paws in the Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Monessen City Park walking track, Grand Blvd. Cost: $10 per pet. Schedule: 10:30 a.m., yoga; 11:15 a.m., pet training demonstration; 11:30 a.m., K9 demonstration and pet contest; and 1 p.m., blessing of the animals. The class is PennDOT approved and for drivers who are at least 55 years old. Safe drivers can receive a 5 percent discount on auto insurance for three years.
