Art
• The Greensburg Art Center will sponsor a bus trip Dec. 14 to the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. Special exhibits will include Sargent and Spain, Vermeer’s Secrets of Venice and Capaccio’s Italian Art. The bus will leave at 5:30 a.m. from the art center, arrive at the museum about 10:15 a.m. and leave Washington at 5 p.m. The museum has three cafes available for lunch, and there will be a dinner stop on the way home. Fundraisers
• A Christmas Bingo will be at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, at St. Barbara Parish, 111 Raymaley Road, Harrison City. Doors open at 5 p.m. Larger payouts will be given in lieu of gifts. Paper packages start at $27. There will be a must-go jackpot and free coffee. The kitchen will be open, and the building is wheelchair accessible. Details: 724-744-4584 or 724-744-7474.
• Greensburg YWCA, 424 N. Main St., will sell used books for 25 cents each from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and the first Saturday of each month through the end of the year.
Meetings
• Local chapters of the Women’s Business Network have scheduled meetings. Those attending can learn how the group supports the success and growth of women in business. Professional women are welcome and can attend as a guest at no cost. Some meetings will be held online. Call the chapter representative for more information.

• The Botanical Society of Westmoreland County will have its holiday party potluck at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, in the red Conservation Barn, 218 Donohoe Road, Hempfield. Ham will be provided. Bring a salad, casserole or dessert to share and a gift-wrapped ornament with a botanical or natural theme for the Christmas tree. Former members and anyone who is interested in the study of local plants is welcome. Reservations required. Annual dues: $10 per individual; $15 per family.
