Church News

• Living Word Congregational Church, 2003 Ridge Road, Jeannette, will have a Second Mile prayer and communion service at 11 a.m. Monday through Saturday at the church.

Fundraisers

• A drive-thru chicken dinner will begin at 4:30 p.m. June 13 at Union Presbyterian Church, 656 Route 380. Donations will be accepted to benefit charity.

Meetings

• South Hills Coin Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. June 11 at the Bethel Park Municipal Building, 5100 W. Library Ave. The program will be about the history of the silver dollar. There will be a 50-50 raffle and prizes for children. Public welcome. New members welcome. Details: 724-984-6611.

Senior Citizen News

• Irwin Senior Activity Center, 310 Oak St., will have mock mojitos at 10 a.m. June 11. Remembering Our Fathers with Fun Stories and Quotes will be at 1 p.m. June 12. Details: 724-787-1760, The center will sponsor a performance by Judi Figel with accompanist David Crisci at noon June 20 at First United Methodist Church. Reservations required by June 13.
