Business workshop
• Mt. Pleasant Business District Authority will host a workshop “Online Influence” from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. Feb. 26 at the authority office, 445 W. Main St., for business owners and community members. Topics will include ways to build trust and credibility online and how to use that to help potential customers make buying decisions. Fundraisers
• A super bingo will be at 11:45 a.m. Feb. 24 in Mack Hall at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 200 Leger Road, North Huntingdon. Doors open at 10:45 a.m. Cost: $30, includes lunch and beverage. There will be a $1,000 jackpot game, 20 games with a $100 payout and four specials of $50/$150 for six cards. Proceeds will support the church 412 Senior Youth Ministry group’s Catholic Heart work camp mission and attendance at the National Catholic Youth Conference. Tickets: stop in at St. Agnes Church, 11400 St. Agnes Lane, North Huntingdon, or Immaculate Conception Church, 308 Second St., Irwin.
• A pancake and waffle breakfast will be from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Feb. 17 at the Greensburg Masonic Center, 349 Donahoe Road, Hempfield. Menu: pancakes, waffles, sausage, fruit cup, coffee and juice. Cost: $10; children 5 to 11, $5. Proceeds will benefit the lodge.
• Lincoln Heights Civic Association will have bingo from 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 15 at the center, 42 Millersdale Road, Hempfield. There will be 20 regular games and five quickies. Cost: 25 cents for a three-card board; $1 for quickies. Payout is 50/50. Free coffee.
Meetings
• Golden Dome Knitting Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 15 at Trinity United Church of Christ, 139 N. Main St., Greensburg. The program will be a presentation of knitted square patterns suitable for Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter. • Greensburg College Club will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Greensburg Garden and Civic Center, 951 Old Salem Road, Greensburg. Ben Franklin impersonator Patrick McBridge will discuss Franklin’s history, opinions and his impact on history. The Hempfield Area High School Show Choir will entertain. Public welcome.
Musicals
• Derry Area School District will present “The SpongeBob Musical” at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 16 and 17 and at 2 p.m. Feb. 18 in the Derry Area Middle School auditorium, 994 Chestnut St. Derry Township.
Based on the animated TV series, it features original songs written by popular music artists including Sara Bareilles, John Legend, Cyndi Lauper, Panic! At the Disco and Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith.

Senior Citizen News
