Fundraisers

• West Newton Public Library is selling tickets for a Valentine’s Day candy box raffle. Cost: $1 for three tickets. The drawing will be Feb. 15. Two winners will each receive a box of Valentine’s Day candy. Tickets: stop in at the library, 124 N. Water St.

Meeting

• Rostraver Sportmen’s Association will hold its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 15 at the club, 539 Cedar Creek Road, Rostraver Township. Membership applications from men and women are now being accepted. Details: 724-984-6611

Parenting conference

• A parenting conference for parents, caregivers and teachers will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 27 and 9:30 a.m. to noon Feb. 28 at Gospel Alliance Church, 1011 Fells Church Road, Rostraver Township. Tax help

• In partnership with the Internal Revenue Service, free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance will be available at Delmont Library, 75 School St., and Westmoreland Community Action, 226 S. Maple St., Greensburg, for those with limited or moderate income, senior citizens and persons with disabilities. Tax returns will be completed online and filed electronically.
