Contraband and firearms seized from Tyler J. Fetter, 24, of Manor, at the Knights Inn in Southwest Greensburg on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019.

A search this week for two fugitives led Westmoreland County Sheriff’s deputies to the Greensburg home of a drug rehabilitation counselor, where they said they found what they were looking for — and more, including two other fugitives hiding elsewhere with a cache of drugs, weapons and money.

Around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, deputies surrounded the Willow Street home of Christine A. Barron, according to court documents. Investigators said they were acting on information that the counselor at RHJ Rehabilitation near Hunker was “harboring” two fugitives — Noel Miller, 32, of Greensburg, and Jeremy R. Bogle, 30, of Jeannette, who were wanted for failing to appear in Westmoreland and Fayette counties on drug-related complaints.

As Barron stood at her front door and denied that anyone else was inside, one deputy watched Bogle dash “through the kitchen area” and another caught him as he tried to run out the basement door, Deputy John Dixon reported.

Deputies radioed Dixon that Bogle had been apprehended, which he told Barron. At that point, “she put her head down and stated that they were in the back bedroom area,” Dixon reported.

Miller and Barron were taken into custody.

Investigators said they learned Bogle and Miller had been seen around Barron’s house and driving her car.

Barron, 52, was arraigned Wednesday on charges of hindering apprehension and possession of drug paraphernalia, after deputies said two crack pipes were discovered in her home. District Judge Chris Flanigan released her on $20,000 unsecured bond. Barron had no attorney listed in online court records.

Reached Thursday at work, she declined to comment. Another woman who answered the phone at RHJ said they could not comment on the case.

When investigators questioned Bogle and Miller, they learned that another fugitive — Tyler J. Fetter, 24, of Manor — was hiding out at the Knights Inn hotel in Southwest Greensburg. He was wanted for multiple criminal complaints filed in North Huntingdon as well as on warrants from Allegheny and Fayette counties.

Deputies knocked at his door and found Fetter awake, lying on a bed with his hands under his head.

“He was reluctant to show his hands immediately,” deputies reported in court documents.

A loaded .38-caliber handgun was discovered under Fetter’s pillow, deputies reported. It had been reported stolen by West Mifflin police.

Along with the firearm, deputies seized from the hotel room 12 bricks (which is 600 individual bags) of heroin, 55 Suboxone strips and $10,000 along with a .30-30 rifle and a .380 handgun — all of which Fetter said belonged to him, according to court records.

Deputies also spotted a fourth fugitive, Terry Good Jr., 27, of Jeannette, hiding under the bed. Good was wanted on three warrants for failure to appear for drug-related, theft and burglary cases filed by Jeannette, Murrysville and North Huntingdon police.

Three young children also were in the room, along with the contraband and hypodermic needles, deputies reported.

Fetter was arraigned Thursday before Youngwood District Judge Anthony Bompiani, who ordered him held in the Westmoreland County Prison on $100,000 bail. He is charged with manufacturing, delivery, and possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of firearms, receiving stolen property, endangering the welfare of a child and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bogle, Good and Miller also are being held in the county jail.
