Westmoreland churches plan Night of Worship at Palace Theatre
Leaders and musicians from several area churches are combining efforts for an inaugural Westmoreland Night of Worship Sept. 27 at The Palace Theatre in Greensburg.
The event, scheduled from 7 to about 8:30 p.m., will feature modern Christian music and worship in the theater at 21 W. Otterman St.
“The goal of this night is to unite the churches across our county in worship,” said organizer Nick Poole, of Calvary Church of Irwin. “We come from different backgrounds, church traditions and communities, but we are all united in our mission to share the love of Christ with our world.”
Other participating churches include Community Church of Harrison City and Greensburg Alliance Church and Word of Life Church, both along Route 136 in Hempfield.
Visit WestmorelandNOW.com to register for the event.
While admission is free, all those attending are encouraged to bring a canned good to donate to the Westmoreland County Food Bank. The food bank serves more than 7,000 disadvantaged families each month.
