Westmoreland County Community College is reaching out to what may be the country’s largest market— aging baby boomers.

With 10,000 members of the generation set to turn 65 every day across the United States through 2030, Medicare is on more minds than ever. WCCC is partnering with APPRISE, the Pennsylvania Health Insurance Assistance Program, to sponsor two free Medicare presentations about the basics of the system.

The first session is scheduled 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 2 at the college’s Latrobe campus at 130 Depot St. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Call 724-925-4204 to register and use registration code PRDX 5019-60.

The second session is from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 10 at WCCC’s Youngwood campus, 145 Pavilion Lane. Call 724-925-4204 to register and cite code PRDX 5019-02.
