A winning Cash 5 ticket was sold at a Washington Township store, officials with the Pennsylvania Lottery announced Monday.

The winner, who purchased the ticket at Thomas’ General Store along Saltsburg Road, will take home $195,000. The ticket was one of two that won the $390,000 jackpot. The other winning ticket was purchased at Rutter’s in York County.

The winning numbers, which were picked Saturday, were 12-14-28-32-35.

To play Cash 5, five numbers between 1 and 43 must be selected. All five numbers must be drawn to win the jackpot. Other prizes are awarded to players who match two, three or four winning numbers. According to lottery officials, more than 25,300 Cash 5 tickets also won prizes during Saturday’s drawing.

Chances of winning the jackpot are 1 in 962,598, and the overall chance of winning any Cash 5 prize are about 1 in 10.5.

Winners of Saturday’s drawing were not yet identified. Officials will announce the winners after the prizes are claimed and tickets validated. Anyone with a winning Cash 5 ticket should contact their nearest lottery office or call 800-692-7481.

Thomas’ General Store and Rutter’s each received a $500 bonus for selling the winning tickets.

Several winning tickets have been purchased across the region over the past few months. The latest prize of $100,000 was awarded after a New Year’s Millionaire Raffle ticket was selected for a weekly drawing prize last month. The ticket was purchased at Puff Discount Tobacco, located on Greensburg Avenue in North Versailles.

Earlier that month, a $3 million scratch-off ticket was sold in Beaver County. The $30 ticket won the grand prize in the Pennsylvania Lottery’s $3 Million Extravaganza scratch-off game. The odds of winning the prize were 1 in 1.44 million. The ticket was sold at Caivano’s Discount Tobacco Outlet in Hopewell.

Another winner was announced in November after a Cash 5 ticket worth $100,000 was sold at Kuhn’s Quality Foods along West Ingomar Road in North Hills.

According to the Pennsylvania’s Lottery website, during the 2018-19 fiscal year, about $33.8 million generated through the program in Westmoreland County was split between the Area Agencies on Aging and Senior Centers, PACE, the shared and free-ride program, property tax and rent rebates and care services.
