Vietnam War veterans will be able to receive a commemorative pin to honor their service during a ceremony at 2 p.m. March 31 in the J. Howard Snyder Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 781, Billott Avenue, North Huntingdon.

The ceremony is being held in conjunction with National Vietnam War Veterans Day.

Veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces between November 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975 — regardless of location — will be eligible to receive a lapel pin. Family members are invited to attend the ceremony with veterans.

Vietnam-era veterans wanting to attend the event should contact the Westmoreland County Department of Veterans Affairs at 724-830-3530.
