A Fayette County man was arraigned Tuesday in connection with three undercover drug buys in July in Westmoreland County.

Brandon Eugene Carter, 38, of Vanderbilt, is accused of selling three bricks of drugs to a confidential informant on three occasions in July. He was being held at the Westmoreland County Prison on $100,000 bail.

Investigators with the Westmoreland County Drug Task Force worked with the confidential informant to buy drugs from Carter at locations in Madison on July 13 and in North Huntingdon on July 27, according to court papers. The controlled buys totalling $1,250 netted 150 stamp bags of suspected heroin/fentanyl and a quarter ounce of cocaine, investigators said.

Carter is charged with drug offenses. He did not have an attorney listed in online court records. A May 17 preliminary hearing is set.
