A six-week introductory class to ultimate Frisbee, for those 10 and older, will teach players the rules, skills and strategy of the game, beginning July 22 in Penn Township.
Carla and Reed Stewart will teach the class held Mondays from July 22 to Aug. 19, at 6:15 to 7:15 p.m., on the front lawn of the Penn Middle School, 1007 Penn Middle Way, Harrison City.
Ultimate Frisbee is a non-contact team sport played with a flying disc — Frisbee. Points are scored by passing the disc to a teammate in the opposing end zone. All skill levels are welcome.
The class is sponsored by the Penn-Trafford Area Recreation Commission. Pre-registration is required. Go to www.ptarc.org for details or to register on line.
