A Swissvale woman is charged with intent to deliver 10 bricks of heroin following a traffic stop Wednesday in North Huntingdon.

According to township police, 500 stamp bags of suspected heroin were discovered in a bag under the rear seat of a Dodge Avenger — where Radajah Lynn Muhammad, 22, was seated with her two unrestrained toddler children.

She was arraigned Thursday before District Judge Wayne Gongaware and jailed on $200,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for Wednesday.

Westmoreland County deputy sheriffs pulled over the car at about 7:30 p.m. after it was traveling erratically and completing illegal lane changes on Route 30, according to court documents.

The deputies noted a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the car, which was occupied by two additional adults, and a search recovered a small amount of marijuana in a front door pocket, the documents state.

Agents of the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office were notified.
