Seton Hill University will launch new undergraduate online certificate programs this fall in Addictions and Substance Abuse and Business Leadership, as well as a graduate certificate in Adaptive Online Instruction that focuses on online teaching skills.

Officials at the Greensburg university said all three programs can be completed in eight months.

The Adaptive Online Instruction 12-credit certificate offers those with a bachelor’s degree skills needed to teach, present information or conduct training sessions online. Courses are Act 48 approved and count toward continuing education hours required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education

The 12-credit certificates in Addictions and Substance Abuse and Business Leadership can be completed in two semesters by taking four, eight-week courses that can be started in August, October or January.
