State police have reopened a section of Route 130 in Hempfield after a head-on crash closed it for two hours on Saturday, said a Westmoreland County 911 dispatch official.

The road reopened at about 5:15 p.m. It was shut down at 3:15 between Oakford Park and North Greengate roads as a result of the crash at the intersection of Route 130 and Spanish Villa Drive.

As of 4:45 p.m., Route 130 partially reopened. Both westbound lanes were closed but one eastbound lane reopened.

Three people who were injured were transported to Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, the official said. He did not know their condition.
