The Palace Theatre in Greensburg was transformed into a winter wonderland for the annual Party at The Palace on Saturday night.

About 250 revelers flocked to the event, happy to be partying in person after the signature fundraiser went virtual in 2020. Planners went all out with food, fun and festive decorations from one end of the historic entertainment venue to the other.

The event kicked off with a VIP pre-party on stage, with music by the Eric Barchiesi Jazz Trio, passed hors d’ouevres and champagne, along with commemorative individual and group photos.

Event committee chairwoman Peg Colosimo and April Kopas, CEO of Westmoreland Cultural Trust, which operates the theater, welcomed guests from one of the opera boxes above the stage.

When the main event got underway, there was dancing to Pittsburgh party band Artistree in the Megan Suite, where tables were laden with more heavy hors d’ouevres.

Solo artist Byron Nash provided softer mood music in the intimate setting of the Upper Megan Suite, where guests could get a sweet treat and a cup of coffee or hot chocolate.

Specialty cocktails were available in the bistro-style setting of the mezzanine.

Between the mezzanine and the upper suite, guests could pop in to a photo booth for more souvenirs of the evening.

The party even spilled out into the courtyard, where a whiskey and cigar bar was set up under a catering tent.
