North Huntingdon building likely will house Primanti Bros., ice cream shop
A Primanti Bros. Restaurant & Bar and an ice cream shop are likely tenants for the bottom floor of a four-story office building coming to North Huntingdon.
Township officials unanimously approved plans for the 29,000-square-foot office building to be built at the Huntingdon Marketplace development along Mills Drive.
Colony Realty Associates L.P. of North Huntingdon intends to put up the office building on a 3-acre parcel along Mills Drive, across from the Walmart and adjacent to an Urban Air adventure park.
Don Tarosky Jr., developer and partner in The Colony Co., parent firm of Colony Realty, said the company will occupy at least the fourth floor of the building. It will share a common wall with the Urban Air park building, scheduled to be completed in November, he said.
The Urban Air facility is about a $7 million project, and the office building will cost about $6.9 million, Tarosky said. The completion date for the office building is late in the second quarter or early third quarter of 2024.
The Primanti Bros. and a Millie’s Homemade LLC ice cream store is expected to be located on the ground floor of the office building.
John Wambold, owner of the Urban Air adventure park, said the North Huntingdon site will cover 70,000 square feet, much larger than a similar facility he owns in Cranberry. It will have a multilevel go-kart track, mini-karts for younger children and other Urban Air attractions.
