Nobody was hurt when a vehicle flipped and landed between two homes in Hempfield Township Tuesday evening, according to Westmoreland County 911.
The single-vehicle crash happened at 8:19 p.m. on the 1000 block of Carbon Road, a dispatcher said.
The SUV was coming around a curve when it lost control and flipped, according to Rob Reese, deputy fire chief for the Carbon Volunteer Fire Department.
It landed on its roof on a wooden fence.
“We’re actually pretty lucky the way the car landed on its roof there it did not hit either of the two homes it landed between,” Reese said.
There were two people inside the SUV, both of whom were evaluated by EMS at the scene.
The only property damage was to the fence.
State police and the Carbon Volunteer Fire Department responded.
