Nemacolin Woodland Resorts plans 'extravaganza'
Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is extending the Fourth of July celebration, with an “Americana Extravaganza” set for July 6 at the Farmington, Fayette County, site.
Planned are carnival games, crafts and face-painting for kids of all ages. According to event planners, the 6 p.m.-midnight event will include more than 10 acts of surprise entertainment, including singers and dancers.
Food, libations, wine and bourbon tastings will be available for purchase, and fireworks will celebrate the patriotic holiday.
The resort also plans an after party with go-go dancers, neon tarot card readers, LED dancers and more on into the early morning hours.
General admission tickets are available to the public for $20 in advance or $25 at the door, adults; and $10 for those ages 3-12.
Parking is $10 per vehicle, benefiting Pittsburgh Fisher House.
