Woman injures herself with own gun at Cheerleaders
An employee at Cheerleaders Gentleman’s Club injured herself when Thursday night after her gun went off in her bag, Pittsburgh police said.
The 21-year-old woman suffered a wound through her thigh around 7:30 p.m. at the club at 3100 Liberty Ave. in Pittsburgh’s Polish Hill neighborhood.
She was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
She told police she had been going through her bag in the bathroom when her gun accidentally discharged.
The gun was legally owned, and police do not anticipate filing any charges.
No injuries in house fire in Ligonier Township
No one was reported injured in a house fire early Friday morning in Ligonier Township, Westmoreland County 911 dispatchers said.
Fire departments were called to the scene around 3:05 a.m. at 126 School St., near the Laughlintown Community Center.
Only one house was damaged, dispatchers said, and the fire was out by 5 a.m.
