Live! Casino Pittsburgh hosts craft beer, wine, music festival
Officials with Live! Casino Pittsburgh are gearing up to host their second annual craft beer, wine and music festival this week.
Summerfest Live! is scheduled for 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday in a parking lot adjacent to the Hempfield facility at Westmoreland Mall.
“Hosting Summerfest Live! is a great way to bring the community together outside during the summer while supporting local businesses,” General Manager Sean Sullivan said in a news release. “Beyond the casino, we are always identifying new ways of fulfilling our role as an entertainment destination.”
The event will feature more than 60 craft beers, a pop-up beer garden, wine, cocktails and food trucks. Live music will be performed by Twisted Fate Rocks, a five-piece band that plays current music and selections from the 1980s and 1990s. Games such as cornhole and yard pong will be available.

An after-party will follow inside the casino at PBR, a country-themed bar.
Summerfest is part of a summer event series that began last month with the Pro “Bulls & Barrels” Rodeo and Concert. The two-day event attracted more than 4,000 people to a makeshift rodeo that featured 40 bulls and 30 horses. A car cruise, festival and fundraiser scheduled for Aug. 14 will round out the summer series.
General admission Summerfest tickets cost $39.95. Those tickets include a sample glass and access to the beer garden, food trucks, games and music. VIP tickets cost $59.95 and include early access to the event, access to an indoor private VIP area, complimentary food and more.
Tickets can be purchased at summerfestpittsburgh.com or at door.
Also this week, the casino is unveiling its new 7,000-square-foot indoor event and entertainment space – The Venue Live! — on Thursday at 11 a.m.
The space is geared toward corporate functions, weddings, concerts and special events.
