Officials with Live! Casino Pittsburgh are hosting their first job fair of the year, with several positions available at the Hempfield facility.

The event, scheduled for Thursday at the casino’s recruitment center in Westmoreland Mall, looks to fill jobs in all facets of operations.

Available positions include table games dealers, security ambassadors, line cooks, facilities attendants, surveillance operators, cashiers, bankers, bartenders, barbacks, bussers, dishwashers, restaurant hosts, food servers, entertainers and VIP hosts.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 to 6 p.m. The recruitment center is located on the first floor of the former Sears wing.

Applicants are encouraged to pre-register on the Live! Casino website, workatlive.com. Pre-registration asks applicants to indicate which positions they are interested in as well as which time slot they would like to attend. Walk-ins are also welcome.

The facility, dubbed an economic engine by local leaders, employees around 520 people.

Last year, several job fairs were held at the facility to help fill open positions as new restaurants opened and as officials worked to bolster staff as covid-related restrictions were lifted.

In addition, Live! Casino, which has been in operation for more than a year, is planning several new attractions, including a poker room, event center, electronic gaming tables, a FanDuel FanCave and a reconfigured high-limit room. The changes were announced in December.
