Hempfield makes changes to their meetings amid coronavirus pandemic.

The Hempfield Area School Board is hosting a virtual meeting this month due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, the meeting can be accessed through the district’s website, hasdpa.net. A link will become active at 6:45 p.m. .

Public comments will be accepted until 6 p.m. Monday. Those interested can email comments to board Secretary Pam Gibasiewicz, gibasiewiczp@hasdpa.net, and they will be read aloud during the meeting.

An agenda will be posted on the district website Friday evening.

Board members canceled their workshop scheduled earlier in the month after Gov. Tom Wolf shuttered schools for the rest of the school year.

In-person meetings were held by the district throughout March.
