Five more former clients of a Latrobe therapist accused of inappropriate behavior during counseling sessions have come forward with new allegations, according to court papers.
Gregory Patrick Miscik, 49, of Salem was charged Nov. 6 with trafficking, sexual abuse of children, child pornography, corruption of minors, indecent assault and harassment.
On Thursday, he was arraigned on new charges of aggravated indecent assault, child pornography, corruption of minors, harassment, indecent exposure, sexual assault and indecent exposure.
A woman who is now in her 20s came forward three days after Miscik’s arrest and said she began counseling with him in 2006 when she was 14, Latrobe police Officer Michelle Preston reported in court papers. She claimed Miscik provided her with cocaine and money and touched her inappropriately.
The woman claimed that during the course of her therapy sessions — which continued through 2011 — Miscik hired her to clean his apartment in Latrobe and demanded that she clean while naked, wearing only stiletto heels.
In another case, another woman now in her 20s said she began seeing Miscik for counseling in 2010 when she was in 10th grade. She told police that he repeatedly offered her cash and drugs.
She told investigators that Miscik once offered her cash for photographs of her having sex with her boyfriend.
“She said she explained how she didn’t appreciate his advances and explained how she is trying to recover from addiction,” Preston wrote in court documents.
Three other people alleged they were harassed by Miscik in visits between 2017 through June and stopped scheduling appointments with him.
Miscik’s attorney, Tim Andrews of Greensburg, said his client has no prior criminal record.
“He denies all of these allegations. He intends to vigorously defend himself against all of these charges,” Andrews said.
In the initial case, Preston said two teenage girls who were seeing Miscik regularly for counseling services reported inappropriate encounters during some of their sessions. He allegedly paid a 13-year-old girl $60 in 2018 to see three nude images she took of herself on an electronic device, according to court papers.
The girl told police that Miscik asked her repeatedly to see the photos and she refused until he offered her money. Police said Miscik asked her to take more photographs for him and he continued to pay her.
Miscik has been a licensed counselor since 2006, according to Department of State records. His license was last renewed in 2019 and expires in February. He was ordered to not have contact with any juvenile.
While Miscik was released Nov. 6 on signature bond, court dockets indicate that Thursday he was released from custody after posting $65,000 bail from a bail bondsman.
A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 14.
