7-year-old Latrobe girl sings anthem at Utah Jazz playoff game
Three weeks after wowing the sellout crowd at the Pittsburgh Pirates home opener, a 7-year-old girl from Latrobe was invited back to again perform the national anthem at a major sports venue.
Victory Brinker sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah, prior to Game 4 of the NBA playoff series between the Utah Jazz and Houston Rockets on Tuesday.
Brinker had previously sung the anthem for the Jazz fans in January.

Brinker has performed opera in five languages, and she’s delved into acting with parts in three feature films. Her highest-profile performance in western Pennsylvania perhaps was “The Star-Spangled Banner” at PNC Park on April 1.
The fourth-youngest of 11 siblings, Brinker’s parents have been advocates for adoption; Victory is one of nine who were adopted, according to a TribLive story from three years ago.
