Spooky happy hour
Art After Dark is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Friday at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, 221 N. Main St., Greensburg.
The 21-and-over happy hour will feature seasonal beers from local breweries, craft cocktails, hot dog bar and Oktoberfest-themed light bites, pumpkin carver Brendan Conaway, a gallery ghost hunt with Stage Right, multi-genre instrumental music by Trio724, raffles and photo opportunities.

Magical musical
The Seton Hill University Theatre and Dance Program will present the musical “Pippin” at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and Oct. 27-29 and 2 p.m. Sunday in the university’s Performing Arts Center, 100 Harrison Avenue, Greensburg.
The musical uses the premise of a mysterious performance troupe, led by the Leading Player, to tell the story of Pippin, a young prince searching for meaning and significance in his life. It includes well-known songs like “Magic to Do” and “Corner of the Sky.”
With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by Roger O. Hirson, “Pippin” is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.

Harvest festival
Stage Right! School for the Performing Arts will host a Harvest Fest fundraiser from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday at Greensburg Garden & Civic Center, 951 Old Salem Road.
The family-friendly indoor/outdoor event will feature fall-themed activities, vendors, children’s area, caricature artist, cornhole tournament and entertainment by Stage Right students and local performers. Recent “America’s Got Talent” contestant Aubrey Burchell will sing at 2:30 p.m. Headline act Northern Gold will take the stage at 5:30 p.m.
Oktoberfest-inspired foods will be available for purchase.
General admission presale tickets are $8, or $4 for students, at eventbrite.com. Fees on-site are $11 and $6, respectively.
A 21-and-older VIP package for $32 includes admission via separate entrance line, meal voucher, basket auction and 50-50 tickets, edible pretzel necklace and commemorative glass for access to a tasting room featuring local breweries, a winery and a distillery.

Fall fun at the library
A family friendly fall festival is planned for 1-5 p.m. Saturday at Greensburg Hempfield Area Library, 237 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Greensburg.
The event will include food trucks, free activities, games and crafts, basket raffle, giveaways, self-guided library tours and used book sale. A Pumpkin Patch Walk will be available from 1 to 4 p.m.
Attendees who sign up for a library card or borrow items from the library during the event can be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card.

Country state of mind
Country singer/songwriter Josh Turner takes the stage at 7 p.m. Sunday at The Palace Theatre, 21 W. Otterman St., Greensburg.
Turner hit the country music scene with the breakout single “Long Black Train” from his 2003 debut album. A member of the Grand Ole Opry, Turner has multiple Grammy, Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music award nominations.
He’s touring behind his latest album, “Country State of Mind,” which includes titles by artists Turner dubs the “Mount Rushmore of Country Music” — Randy Travis, John Anderson, Johnny Cash, Vern Gosdin and Hank Williams.
