Taking the stage
Stage Right’s School for the Performing Arts will end its school year with three fully produced shows, Friday through Sunday in Science Hall Theater at the Westmoreland County Community College Youngwood campus.
The schedule includes: “Bye Bye Birdie Young Performers Edition,” ages 8-12, 6 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday; “Anything Goes,” ages 13-18, 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday; and “Disney Movie Magic,” ages 4-7, noon Saturday.

Chivalry and windmills
Pennsylvania Ballet Conservatory dances into Greensburg for two performances of “Don Quixote,” at 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in The Palace Theatre.
Student dancers ages 3-19 will present excerpts from the classic tale of love, dreams and adventure, based on Miguel Cervantes’ 17th-century novel “Don Quixote de la Mancha.”
In-person tickets are $25 each, with a limit of four per order. Seating is general admission to provide for social distancing. Livestream is available for $35 per household.

Concert on the Diamond
Ligonier Valley Marching Band will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday in front of Ligonier Town Hall, as the annual Sunday evening concerts on the Diamond return. Concerts are planned weekly through August.
The band includes Ligonier Valley School District students from grades 6-12. They will be joined for the event by marching band alumni to perform selections from their pregame and halftime shows and numbers they play from the stands during games.
Although some bench seating is available in Diamond Park, visitors are advised to bring chairs. Some eateries around the Diamond remain open during concert hours.
In the event of rain, the concert will be canceled. The decision will be made around 4 p.m. and posted on the Visit Ligonier Facebook page and ligonier.com.
Music in the park
The 2021 Twin Lakes Summer Concert Series opens Monday with three acts at the Brian T. Rusnock Amphitheater in the park expansion area off Georges Station Road in Hempfield.
The schedule for the free, all-ages show includes Adam Leonard, 1 p.m.; Life of Brian, 3:45 p.m.; and The Hawkeyes, 6:30 p.m.
Seating is limited; attendees are encouraged to bring their own seats, snacks and drinks. Adult beverages are permitted for those 21 and older. Event sponsor Second Half Coach will serve burgers and hot dogs.
The venue is dog-friendly.
