5 things to do in Westmoreland County this weekend: May 21-23
Return of the ‘90s
They say you’re not a true kid of the 1990s if you never heard someone say, “Get off the internet. I need to use the phone!”
Hard to believe it’s more than 20 years since that era passed into history, but it’s coming back for a ’90s Party from 6-9 p.m. Friday at Greenhouse Winery in North Huntingdon.
There will be live music by My So-Called ’90s Band and Japanese-style food specialties from the Hibachi Lou food truck.
If you’re 21 or older, dig up some Dr. Martens, animal prints or neon, leather or pleather, and make your reservations at 724-446-5000.

Make like Monet
Make like Monet and create your own masterpiece during one of the weekend sessions at Painting With a Twist in Greensburg.

Fees vary by class. Guests are invited to bring their own snacks and beverages, including alcohol for those over 21.

UTV racing
The inaugural UTV Battlegrounds Series roars into Westmoreland Fairgrounds at 6 p.m. Saturday for a family oriented motor sport event featuring UTV Side By Sides competing in Head to Head Bracket Racing, Best Trick, Long Jump, Freestyle and other events.
(For the uninitiated, a UTV is a utility terrain vehicle made more for work than for recreation — as opposed to an ATV, or all-terrain vehicle often called a quad or four-wheeler.)
Ticket-holders can meet competing athletes during a pre-show meet-and-greet from 4-5 p.m. Tickets are $15, or $10 for ages 2-11, at simpletix.com.
Rockin’ at the drive-in
Bon Jovi hits the big screen at 9 p.m. Saturday at the Evergreen Drive-In near Mt. Pleasant for an Encore Drive-In Nights Concert, a never-before-seen show recorded live exclusively for this one-night-only event at drive-ins and other outdoor venues.
The straight-outta-Jersey classic rockers are known for hits such as “Livin’ on a Prayer,” “You Give Love a Bad Name” and “Wanted Dead or Alive.”
Gates open at 6 p.m. General admission parking is first-come, first-served. Ticket for a carload of six passengers is $89 plus fees at tixr.com.
Shop ‘til you drop
The third annual Spring Into Summer Vendor & Craft Show is set for noon-4 p.m. Sunday at the Youngwood Fire Hall, 104 S. Second St. In addition to shopping from area vendors and crafters, basket and 50-50 raffles, and a kids area will be available.
Basket winners will be drawn at 3:30 p.m., with 50-50 drawing at 3:45 p.m. A door prize drawing for $100 in Pennsylvania Lottery tickets will be at 4 p.m.
Sales of food, snacks and nonalcoholic beverages will benefit the fire department’s women’s auxiliary. Event is hosted by Country Scents, Suds & Naturals by Candie Land.
