Don your best green garb for “Shamrocks and Shenanigans,” a St. Patrick’s Day-themed Art on Tap 2.0 planned for 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, 221 N. Main St., Greensburg.

The 21-and-older happy hour will feature a specialty cocktail, locally brewed green beer, Irish coffee and themed light bites, along with entertainment by Martin Thomas, photo opportunities, a Pot of Gold activity and shamrock scavenger hunt with prizes.

What’s the buzz?

Westmoreland Performing Arts will stage the classic rock opera “Jesus Christ Superstar” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday in The Palace Theatre, 21 W. Otterman St., Greensburg.

With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, the sung-through work is loosely based on Gospel accounts of the Passion of Jesus Christ, focusing on the psychology of Jesus and other characters. It debuted on Broadway in 1971.

Murder most foul

The classic whodunit “And Then There Were None” will be staged at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Geyer Performing Arts Center, 111 Pittsburgh St., Scottdale.

The 1943 play by mystery writer Agatha Christie finds 10 people gathered in an isolated mansion on a remote island, where a gramophone recording accuses all of them of past unpunished crimes. As the weather turns foul and no escape is possible, they begin dying one by one.

What’s so funny?

An open-mic comedy night will begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Green Beacon Gallery, 235 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg.

Hosted by Jesse Feng, the evening is the first of a planned bimonthly series of comedy sessions.

A sign-up sheet will be posted in front of the stage at 7 p.m. Participants should plan to perform for 10 to 15 minutes.

Cover is $5. The all-ages event is BYOB for those 21 and older.

Warriors rock

Gary Racan and the studio e band will present the benefit concert “Warriors Rock” at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Seton Hill University Performing Arts Center, 100 Harrison Ave., Greensburg. Doors open at 2 p.m.

Proceeds will benefit CAHS Patriots Inc., an organization that provides care packages to deployed military personnel and honors local veterans via various special programs. Founded in 2003 as a student volunteer group at Connellsville Area Senior High School, it was incorporated in 2008.

“Warriors Rock” was created in 2013 by Gary and Kim Racan in honor of their veteran fathers. The Racans are owners of Hempfield-based Racan Productions, formerly called studio e entertainment.
