Artsy interlude
Weekend hours will be 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. today and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, 221 N. Main St., Greensburg. The museum will be closed Sunday for New Year’s Day.
Current exhibits include “Gatecrashers: The Rise of the Self-Taught Artist in America,” featuring the work of post-World War I artists without formal training; “Forest of Symbolism,” five paintings showing the influence of European Symbolism on American art; and “Gavin Benjamin: Break Down and Let It All Out,” with photographic portraits of local Black community members.

Test your problem-solving abilities with a visit to 60 Minute Missions Escape Room, with locations at 116 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg; and 4574 William Penn Highway, Murrysville.
One-hour and 30-minute time slots are open today and Saturday at both locations. A variety of brain-teasing challenges include “Santa’s Spoiled” in Greensburg, in which players have to save Christmas after Santa eats tainted snacks, and “Boss Level” in Murrysville, in which players become video game characters trying to advance to the next level.

Trifecta of fun
New Year’s Eve festivities abound this weekend at The Lamplighter Restaurant, 6566 Route 22, near Delmont.
• Pure Gold will entertain at a dinner show tonight. The meal will be served at 7:15 p.m., with music and dancing from 8:30 to 11 p.m. Reservations begin at $60 and include hats, noisemakers and champagne toast. Cash bar will be available.
• The Pittsburgh Belairs will be featured at a Saturday dinner show, with meal at 7:30 p.m. and entertainment beginning at 8:30 p.m. A $60 reservation includes dinner, midnight snack buffet, hats, noisemakers and champagne toast.
• Also on Saturday, a New Year’s Eve party will start with buffet dinner from 4 to 9 p.m., followed by dancing to music by DJ Johnny O from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. The party will include cash bar, midnight snack buffet, hats and noisemakers, door prizes and a midnight champagne toast. Fee is $60 per person.

Nightie night
Put 2022 to bed at the New Year’s Eve Pajama Jamma starting at 8 p.m. Saturday at Green Beacon Gallery, 235 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg.
Guests are asked to come in comfy nightwear and are welcome to sleep over in the gallery.
Cover charge is $10 for the over-21, BYOB event. Light refreshments will be available.

Lively time
New Year’s Eve festivities begin at 9 p.m. Saturday at Live! Casino Pittsburgh at Westmoreland Mall in Hempfield.
The celebration takes over the entire second floor of the venue, with music by DJ Digital Dave, the in-game DJ for the Pittsburgh Steelers and resident DJ at Pittsburgh night spot CAVO, and Metro, a Pittsburgh band covering top dance hits from the ’70s to today.
Festive drinks and complimentary light bites will be served. The night will be capped off with a midnight champagne toast and party favors to take home.
