“Artists of the 21st Century,” the 24th annual exhibition of student artwork, opens Friday at the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art at Ligonier Valley, off Route 711 south of Ligonier. Hours are from noon-4:30 p.m. Wednesdays-Sundays.

The exhibit features work by public- and private-school students in Westmoreland County whose districts participate in SAMA’s Arts-in-Education or Artist-in-Residence programs. Each district can submit up to 25 solo and two group projects.

A reception is set from noon-4 p.m. March 5, with a suggested $1 donation. The show runs through April 14.
