After-hours art
Fiber artist Kari Roslund will be the special guest at Art After Hours from 6 to 8 p.m. today at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, 221 N. Main St., Greensburg.
Roslund’s one-of-a-kind, hand-felted art pieces made from materials including wool, silk, wire, wood and paper are available in the museum shop.
The evening also will feature an art scavenger hunt, musical entertainment, light refreshments and libations.
Fee is $12, or $10 for members, in advance, or $15 at the door for everyone. Fee includes one drink; cash bar will be available.

Long list of bands
It’s a live-music weekend at Green Beacon Gallery, 235 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg.
The lineup for an all-ages show beginning at 7 p.m. today includes Warehouse 11, Wasted Info, The Band Hannah and Acoustical Bruce.
At 7 p.m. Saturday, the gallery plays host to Seethe, Lilith Mors, Lilac/Web, Doomdrome and Squabble.
Both shows are 21-and-older BYOB events. Cover for both nights is name-your-own-price.

Soft rock sounds
“Yacht rock” band Boat House Row has a show at 8 p.m. today at The Lamp Theatre, 222 Main St., Irwin.
The Philadelphia-based group plays soft rock hits from the late 1970s and early 1980s from acts such as Ambrosia, Hall & Oates, Michael McDonald, Christopher Cross, Steely Dan, Toto, Robbie Dupree and Rupert Holmes.
The term “yacht rock” comes from a 2005 internet series by that name that followed the lives of two fictitious soft-rock musicians.

Hits and deep cuts
Relive the “Year of the Cat” with Al Stewart at 8 p.m. Saturday at The Palace Theatre in Greensburg.
The Scottish singer/songwriter and his band, The Empty Pockets, will delve deep into their catalog and play the aforementioned 1976 soft-rock hit and others, such as “Time Passages” and “On the Border,” during a show thrice-rescheduled during the pandemic.

Sunrise service
A community Easter sunrise service will begin at 6:30 a.m. Sunday on the Diamond in Ligonier. The Rev. Jonathan Huddleston of Laughlintown Christian Church and the Rev. Jesse Robinson of Waterford Christian Church will speak. The CCW Praise Band will provide music.
