The scene of a fatal car wreck along Baughman Hollow Rd near Spartan Lane in Hempfield Township, on Monday, May 6, 2019.

Two people were killed and one person was in critical condition after their car went off the road, struck multiple trees and overturned in Hempfield Township Sunday night.

The crash was reported at 8:30 p.m. at 1244 Baughman Hollow Road.

Killed in the crash were Marc F. Delissio, 33, of Penn Township and Kirstin R. Kerrigan, 22, of Arona Borough, according to the Westmoreland County Coroner’s Office.

A third woman, who wasn’t identified by the office, was flown to a Pittsburgh area hospital, according to Deputy Coroner Jonathon Jenkins. State police in Greensburg listed her in critical condition.

A news release from the coroner’s office said Delissio was driving a 2018 Dodge Charger west on Baughman Hollow Road when it crossed the center line into the opposite lane, left the road, struck multiple large trees and overturned.

Delissio died at the scene. Paramedics took Kerrigan to Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg, where she died.

Snyder Funeral Home of Irwin is handling funeral arrangements for Kerrigan.
