A crash involving two motorcycles Saturday in Unity sent two people to area hospitals, according to a Westmoreland County 911 dispatch supervisor.

The wreck was reported shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Marguerite Road near Cougar Lane.

One person was taken by ambulance for treatment and the other was flown by helicopter, the supervisor said. Firefighters established a landing zone for the helicopter at the Marguerite ball field.

Additional details weren’t immediately available.
