Someone who purchased a Mega Millions lottery ticket in Rostraver is $1 million richer.

A ticket sold at the Shop ‘n Save supermarket at Willowbrook Plaza matched all five white balls, but not the yellow Mega Ball, in Friday’s Mega Millions drawing, according to Pennsylvania Lottery officials.

The officials noted the winner won’t be known until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated. The ticket holder has one year to claim the prize.

The store will earn a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

“We have received bonuses in the past for big winners, three or four over the past several years,” said store owner Jeff Duritza.

No one won the Mega Millions jackpot on Friday, which boosted the jackpot for Tuesday’s drawing to a $400 million annuity value, or $216.2 million in cash.

Other Pennsylvania players who won prizes in Friday’s drawing include: 22 who matched four of the five white balls and will receive $500 each; seven who matched four of five and purchased the Megaplier, for $2,000 each; 34 who matched three of five and the Mega Ball, for $200 each; 10 who matched three of five and the Mega Ball, and also purchased the Megaplier, for $800 each.
