Warrant issued for Pittsburgh rape suspect

Pittsburgh police asking for the public’s help in tracking down a rape suspect.

Anthony Terney, 26, of Pittsburgh is wanted on charges of sexual assault, indecent assault, endangering the welfare of children, rape, corruption of minors, two counts of aggravated indecent assault and two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse.

Online court documents indicate city police filed the charges Oct. 2 in connection with an incident on Jan. 1, 2009.

Terney is described as a black man with a goatee standing 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighting about 195 pounds.

Anyone with information on Terney’s whereabouts should contact Pittsburgh Police Special Victims Unit at 412-323-7141.
